Very exciting to be in another show at the Artists Center at the Galen. “Casting Shadows: Dimensional Art” opening reception this Thursday, May 16th, from 4-6pm. Very fun to be featured by the Artists Council for May 2024. The Artists Council, in it’s sixth year as an independent organization, was previously part of the prestigious Palm Springs Art Museum. It occupies the award winning Galen Building in Palm Desert California. It is a museum quality facility hosting numerous gallery shows throughout the year. Thank You Artists Council!
Great fun last night at the Artists Council ACE show opening reception as I received the Jurors Award For Outstanding Artistic Achievement. My photography will be in my 2nd show of the year so far at the Artists Council “Through The Lens” show at the Artists Center at the Galen in Palm Desert. It is a wonderful venue previously the East Valley location of the Palm Springs Art Museum. A departure from my past photography, this is very unique. The opening reception is March 14th at 4-6PM. In the past the Artists Council of the Palm Springs Art Museum would have fundraisers selling artworks for $99. Some of which were submitted by very famous people. You never knew what you might get. Here the early crowd waiting to get in at the Riviera Hotel. Palm Springs California
