The Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread

On this day, July 7th in 1928, sliced bread was first sold, revolutionizing the baking industry! It was promoted as “the greatest forward step in the baking industry since bread was wrapped.” Many of us fondly remember Wonder Bread sandwiches in our lunchboxes. Wonder Bread was one of the first brands to sell sliced bread in 1930, becoming an icon in the process. National Fried Chicken Day

Happy National Fried Chicken Day! 🐔🍗 It’s extra special this year, falling right during the long July 4th weekend. I wonder if we’ll see a spike in fried chicken consumption because of it? 🤔 Fun fact: KFC is the 2nd largest fast-food chain globally with over 30,000 locations, only topped by McDonald’s with over 40,000 locations! July 4th Ice Cream

July 4th makes me think of ice cream. Not sure why, I really almost never eat ice cream. Did you know vanilla is the most popular flavor worldwide, followed by chocolate and strawberry?
