National Camera Day

📸 Happy National Camera Day! 📸 Today, we celebrate the incredible device that captures memories, moments, and magic in our lives. From vintage classics to cutting-edge technology, the camera has been an integral part of human expression and storytelling.

This is the iconic Rolleiflex TLR. A camera used by many legendary photographers of the past and still coveted by some today.

I photographed this Rolleiflex using modern innovation – a Hasselblad X1D11 50c camera paired with the Broncolor F160 LED monolight. Thinking about it; it is a fusion of tradition and innovation.

Let me also announce the first major change to my website in 20 years. Head over to http://SecondFocus.com to take a look. Stay tuned as I’ll be adding much more, so be sure to visit often. Thank you for your continued support! 🌟🖥️ #NationalCameraDay #Photography #Rolleiflex #Hasselblad #Broncolor #SecondFocus #CameraWest

Not AI

I might try out and explore AI, but when I take a camera with me, it is my 1950’s Leica IIIf film camera.

Avanti

From the Modernism Week 2024 car show. A Studebaker Avanti designed by Raymond Loewy. Appropriately photographed with a camera that also seems like a Modernism design, a Leica IIIf. The car show was called “Bikinis and Bucket Seats” however it was very short of bikinis. Palm Springs California 02-19-2024
