Makes Me Laugh

Last Friday, this A4 Skyhawk doing a practice flight at the Apple Valley Airshow. Just that morning we were on the ramp at the Palm Springs Air Museum. In the late afternoon Sun, it looks like polished aluminum when actually it is bright white. You can see it in my prior photos. The Airshow on Saturday was great fun. Including our aircraft from the Air Museum. More to come! Thank You!

At the Reno Air Races a couple of weeks ago. Our Palm Springs Air Museum three aircraft returning from a heat race. P-51 Mustang “Man O’ War”, P-63 Kingcobra “Pretty Polly”, and the P-51 Mustang “Bunny”.

Returning From The Reno Air Races
Returning this past Monday from the Reno Air Races 2022 to the Palm Springs Air Museum. The P-51 Mustang “Man O’ War” and the P-63 Kingcobra “Pretty Polly”. I was in the P-51 Mustang “Bunny”. All three raced at Reno.
Smoke Glow
The smoke filled glow from the nearby fires at Reno-Stead Airport toward the end of the day. We were returning from a flight on the Palm Springs Air Museum C-47 “What’s Up Doc?” at the Reno Air Races 2022.

This morning we send three of our Palm Springs Air Museum aircraft to the Reno Air Races 2022. That is me on the ramp managing the start ups and heading out. I will be going up on Tuesday in our C-47.
