When I was a kid, my eyes were opened to the naked women of Playboy. But then along came Penthouse! Decades later, ‘Centerfold’ has just been published about the world of Penthouse and its creator, Bob Guccione. Guccione was also a photographer, and with these early editions comes an original slide from his archives. This is a scan of the one I’ve acquired. Kodachrome, no name, just marked ‘Test shot.’ There are more in this limited collection from his archives, and I have three on the way that are very relevant to current affairs. Since starting up the video section on my website on July 10th, I am amazed with it’s success. This is through 5:00pm today July 26th. Today set a new record of 2,756 views. My videos are indeed risqué going back to behind the scenes from my photoshoots. And I am starting to add in some of my aviation videos. I started up the video component of my work again. I had let it lapse for some time. On July 10th I renewed it and have been uploading my first explorations in video. Mostly somewhat behind the scenes of my photoshoots. Handheld cameras, short video clips, somewhat explicit. I think today looking back, they are great fun. And I guess my viewers do too. I just found out that May is National Bike Month. Established in 1956, the League of American Bicyclists says it “… is a chance to showcase the many benefits of bicycling — and encourage more folks to giving biking a try”. So I hope you find my photograph encouraging. Thanks!

Some time back my large color checker went missing. Probably got left in a gym during a shoot. Now I can’t find my small version. I am sure it will turn up but probably will have to buy a new one until then. Makes me feel better about color matching under different lighting when it is color critical.
I was so very pleased to have found Nova. Totally random but for some reason I remembered her. I collect these Hasselblad books. Nova Published In Hasselblad Victor Photography Book One. Original photograph by Damon Loble. Nova was very excited to see this. She had never seen it before.
