Opening The Apple Valley Airshow
Unfurling the Flag for the opening of the Apple Valley Airshow this last Saturday. It really was great fun and a great show.

A4 Skyhawk At The Apple Valley Airshow
Last Friday, this A4 Skyhawk doing a practice flight at the Apple Valley Airshow. Just that morning we were on the ramp at the Palm Springs Air Museum. In the late afternoon Sun, it looks like polished aluminum when actually it is bright white. You can see it in my prior photos. The Airshow on Saturday was great fun. Including our aircraft from the Air Museum. More to come! Thank You!
Getting Organized
I have been so busy lately I decided I needed to spend some time getting more organized.
Our Reno Racers
At the Reno Air Races a couple of weeks ago. Our Palm Springs Air Museum three aircraft returning from a heat race. P-51 Mustang “Man O’ War”, P-63 Kingcobra “Pretty Polly”, and the P-51 Mustang “Bunny”.
At One With The Tree
Maria Bertrand in Guess by Marciano. Along Mulholland Drive above Beverly Hills. We did slow down traffic that day.
Strip Teeze
Nose art on the ramp today. This was better to look at while fueling this T-6 than the pump screens at automobile gas stations.
Always Pool Weather
It is almost always pool weather here in Palm Springs. Model and styling by Amber Flowers.
Heritage Flight
At the Reno Air Races 2022, a Heritage Flight with a United States Air Force F-22 Raptor and a World War II P-51 Mustang.
“Doc” Landing
I knew just the right place to photograph “Doc” landing in Palm Springs. A World War II B-29 Superfortress visiting the Palm Springs Air Museum.

Flying With “Doc” the B-29
An amazing experience the other day, flying alongside the B-29 “Doc” and aircraft from the Palm Springs Air Museum.
F-22 Raptor
A United States Air Force F-22 Raptor at the Reno Air Races 2022.

On Bunny
That’s me installing a GoPro inside the Palm Springs Air Museum P-51 Mustang “Bunny” at the Reno Air Races 2022. Photo courtesy of my friend Ian Glover (yes same first name).
Returning From The Reno Air Races
Returning this past Monday from the Reno Air Races 2022 to the Palm Springs Air Museum. The P-51 Mustang “Man O’ War” and the P-63 Kingcobra “Pretty Polly”. I was in the P-51 Mustang “Bunny”. All three raced at Reno.
Smoke Glow
The smoke filled glow from the nearby fires at Reno-Stead Airport toward the end of the day. We were returning from a flight on the Palm Springs Air Museum C-47 “What’s Up Doc?” at the Reno Air Races 2022.
Fire Clouds
Apocalyptic fire clouds last Tuesday on the way to the Reno Air Races 2022. I was onboard the Palm Springs Air Museum C-47 “What’s Up Doc?”.
On The Way Reno Air Races 2022
Last week Tuesday on the way to the Reno Air Races 2022 in the Palm Springs Air Museum C-47 “What’s Up Doc?”. I was way too busy since then to post.
On The Way Reno Air Races
This morning we send three of our Palm Springs Air Museum aircraft to the Reno Air Races 2022. That is me on the ramp managing the start ups and heading out. I will be going up on Tuesday in our C-47.
Flyover Dedication
Two T-6 Texan aircraft doing a flyover for the dedication of a United States Post Office honoring Tuskegee Airman Lt. Col. Robert Friend. Along with these aircraft I was in the Red Tail P-51 Mustang “Bunny” shooting photographs. “Bunny” is in the livery of the Colonel’s Mustang that he flew in World War II. F-18’s Takeoff
Two F-18’s taking off out of Palm Springs California. iPhone video on a very hazy day. The iPhone is great because it is always with me. But the results are often not what I would consider professional. You might have noticed that the latest “Top Gun” movie was not shot on an iPhone.
