The continued assembly of the Aluminaire House at the Palm Springs Art Museum. The Aluminaire House created in 1931 by architects A. Lawrence Kocher and Albert Frey. Designed as a case study, three stories high.
Great fun last night at the Artists Council ACE show opening reception as I received the Jurors Award For Outstanding Artistic Achievement. My photography will be in my 2nd show of the year so far at the Artists Council “Through The Lens” show at the Artists Center at the Galen in Palm Desert. It is a wonderful venue previously the East Valley location of the Palm Springs Art Museum. A departure from my past photography, this is very unique. The opening reception is March 14th at 4-6PM. Just one of those times I was flying in the backseat of a P-51 Mustang at the Salton Sea and happened to end up next to a B-29 Superfortress. Lucky for me I had a camera.
The long-awaited “Masters Of The Air” miniseries is released on Apple TV! It depicts the Airmen of the Eighth Air Force and the 100th Bomb Group flying B-17’s at Thorpe Abbotts England during World War II.

Take these two tablets and call me in the morning. Bodybuilder Ronnie Coleman making a grand entrance on stage for the finals at the 2006 Mr. Olympia competition. He won the Mr. Olympia title eight times.
That day Ronnie and I each arrived by limousine at the Orleans Arena very early. I was the photographer for Bodybuilding.com so we knew each other. As we walked in I asked him what it really felt like being at another Olympia. Among the things he said was that this was what God had intended for him. Ronnie is known for being very religious and I could tell that he was not bragging but actually feeling humble about it. It was truly a really nice moment I have remembered from my times in the bodybuilding industry.
This is not clear to me. If I drive at 5MPH do I get a beer? How long do I drive at 5MPH? If I drive at 10MPH do I get two beers? And do I get an IPA? Or just some watery lite beer? I need help with this one because I go past this place every now and then.

This is fun… My photograph submission has been selected for the juried Artists Council Exhibition (ACE Show) 2024 at the Artists Center at the Galen in Palm Desert California. Previously the Galen was the East Exhibition Facility for the Palm Springs Art Museum. The show will run from February 7 through March 3rd.
