Letโs celebrate with a throwback to a true classicโthe Jumbo Jack from Jack In The Box. ๐ Introduced in 1971 to rival the Big Mac, this massive burger quickly made its mark in the fast food world. Fun fact: the only major change since then was swapping out Jackโs Secret Sauce for ketchup in 1999!

It is National Aviation Day, August 19th. Established by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1939. While I wasnโt around back then (lol), at 9 years old, I was already building model airplanes and hanging them from my bedroom ceiling. Fast forward, and Iโve had the incredible opportunity to fly in all kinds of World War II warbirds, biplanes, a jet fighter trainer, and both military and civilian helicopters. Aviation has truly been an amazing part of my life journey!

I started up the video component of my work again. I had let it lapse for some time. On July 10th I renewed it and have been uploading my first explorations in video. Mostly somewhat behind the scenes of my photoshoots. Handheld cameras, short video clips, somewhat explicit. I think today looking back, they are great fun. And I guess my viewers do too. ๐ญ National Hot Dog Day is here! ๐ญ Hot dogs have come a long way since they were first sold in 1870 at Coney Island. Now, they’re a summer and baseball staple, with 150 million hot dogs eaten every July 4th! Check out my photo of the original Mustard Dog and Kraut Dog from Wienerschnitzel. On this day, July 7th in 1928, sliced bread was first sold, revolutionizing the baking industry! It was promoted as “the greatest forward step in the baking industry since bread was wrapped.” Many of us fondly remember Wonder Bread sandwiches in our lunchboxes. Wonder Bread was one of the first brands to sell sliced bread in 1930, becoming an icon in the process.
