I photographed this Rolleiflex using modern innovation – a Hasselblad X1D11 50c camera paired with the Broncolor F160 LED monolight. Thinking about it; it is a fusion of tradition and innovation.

From this morning, 14 Sunspot regions make this the largest number so far in this Solar Cycle 25. These Sunspots have been throwing off Coronal Mass Ejections combimed with a fast Solar wind are causing strong geomagnetic storms on Earth. I find this place so very interesting and scenic. The Cholla Cactus Garden in the Pinto Basin of Joshua Tree National Park. The Cholla thrive here becuase of the exact right conditions. Also the stems are too heavy for the wind to carry so they stay right in the area. 04-07-2024
