For The Opera With Xtine

A look at posing with model Xtine at Bombay Beach at the Salton Sea during our photo shoot just the other day. You might ask “Why is that boat there?”. Well, for the opera, of course!

Video shot on a Fujifilm X-T1 camera. The actual photographs from the shoot, previews soon. The photography with a Hasselblad digital camera system and Broncolor lighting. Thanks!

Love Doing These!

Have I mentioned that I love doing these short videos for Palm Springs Fitness Center? Maybe I have but I really do, they are so fun and worthwhile. Spend a few moments. Thanks!

More Raechelle

I had so very many comments, and in person, about my post of my photo shoot with Raechelle Chase from New Zealand that I thought I should post another photograph. Thanks!

For A 102 Year Old Veteran

Yes it is great fun to be flying with the Palm Springs Air Museum as the photographer and doing the social media. But getting to share doing something for all the right reasons is really special. A flyover for the 102nd birthday of a World War II Veteran and POW. More info below…

On the way to do a flyby to celebrate the 102nd birthday of Veteran Mike Kovich in Desert Hot Springs last Saturday. Mike was a top gunner in a B-17 Flying Fortress bomber in World War II. On the very first mission to bomb Berlin his plane was shot down and he was captured. He spent 13 months as a POW. Very exciting for us to be able to fly on by with our P-51 Mustang “Bunny” and our T-28 Trojan! Thank You to VFW Post 1534 for sharing Mike’s birthday with us! Visit with Mike in his interview with KESQ News here at https://goo.gl/yZVW2c Thanks!

Same Time In Front And Behind The Camera

Not often you will see me in front of the camera and also behind the camera at the same time. Watch for me in the red shirt in the back of an airplane, a T-28 Trojan.

Outstanding for the Palm Springs Air Museum to be featured in Warbird Digest with a great video by Air Show Vid and story by Scott Plummer about the Props & Hops Craft Beer Festival from this just past Saturday! So very much fun for everyone!

The Air Museum has been on a course to bring the best programming andexcitement to it’s guests and to share all of it on it’s Facebook to the largest audience possible. I am proud to say that as the social media manager for the Air Museum they have allowed me the latitude to really push to make that happen. And also the opportunity to create as much content as possible with my own photos and video.

So to watch for more and to participate in the fun please visit and Like the Facebook page for the Palm Springs Air Museum. Thanks!

Doesn’t Look Like Much

Doesn’t look like much does it? See the jeeps in our caravan just to the left and the dirt road as it winds to the right. Now imagine troops on that road suddenly coming under fire from soldiers with a machine gun, rifles and grenades or a mortar hidden from behind this rock barricade. Unseen from your position below.

On a tour of a very small part of General Patton’s Desert Training Center from World War II in the Mojave Desert. The area was chosen by Patton because it very much resembled the terrain and climate of North Africa. Watch the beginning of the 1970 motion picture “Patton” and you will get an idea of the comparison.

The tour yesterday was courtesy by the Mojave Desert Land Trust (MDLT) in Joshua Tree and guided by the Bureau of Land Management. Sponsorship by Keen footwear. It was really outstanding! Thanks!
