Olympia 3 Of The Best
Three of the best bodybuilders of all time; Dexter Jackson, Jay Cutler and Phil Heath. One of the many Mr. Olympia’s in Las Vegas I photographed for Bodybuilding.com and many of the bodybuilding and fitness magazines.
Vamps and Flappers
Certainly got my attention. I like this idea of wardrobe for a photo shoot. From the Facebook group Vamps and Flappers of the 1920’s, 1920’s, and early 1930’s.
“Actress Lorraine Marshall in the 1933 film “Footlight Parade”. Marshall was a bit actress and dancer in many pre-code film and early talkies, including “It’s Great To Be Alive” (1933) and “I’ve Got Your Number” (1934).
Randalene
I have said it before, one of the most beautiful women I have ever photographed. And I have photographed her many times. My buddy Randalene Sergent. Makeup and hair styling by Natalie Lyle.
Mustangs In The Air
Flying back from the Reno Air Races a couple of years ago. Mark Moodie flying “Lady Alice” and Michael Pfleger flying “Lady B”. I was in the Palm Springs Air Museum P-51 Mustang “Bunny”. It would have been great to have been in another aircraft to photograph all three.
Future Girl
Photographed by me at Photoshop World in Las Vegas a few years ago. It was at the Westcott Lighting exhibit. The model is Chelsea Dawn based in Las Vegas and an incredibly versatile and very busy model. I sure do miss events like this for many reasons.
Helmut Newton Budapest
My favorite photographer, Helmut Newton. His work was unique, creative, original, as well as often erotic and termed “Porno Chic”. April 2013, I arrived in Budapest to be the special stills photographer on a motion picture.
As the studio car drove me from the airport through Heroes Square to my hotel, we passed the Museum Of Fine Arts. I said to myself, my first day off, I would go see this Helmut Newton Exhibit. Indeed I did! It was a huge exhibit including some of his more commercial fashion work in color. Huge prints in beautiful color it was. A great start for what was seven weeks for me in Budapest.
Laying Around
Not unusual for me at all. And it can be very restful. Women’s shoe fashion photo shoot. Hasselblad digital camera system and Broncolor lighting.
