C-47 Back To Palm Springs
Last Sunday, me in the C-47 headed back to the Palm Springs Air Museum. Three days at the Hangar 24 AirFest in Redlands. That was a lot of fun! Thanks to Ben, Sue and Paul and especially to Mark! And Thanks to Jason for the departure video.
Westworld
Yes for three days, a few weeks ago, I was on the set for the shooting of an episode of the series Westworld on HBO. Think aviation. It will be for Season 3. Want me to tell you more? You will have to take me out and get me drunk first lol.
Palm Springs Photo Festival 2019
This past week was the Palm Springs Photo Festival. In it’s 14th year, it brings 1,000 photographers from around the world to participate in seminars and workshops and presentations with some of the most honored and respected photographers today.
For the second year I was host for one of those workshops at the Palm Springs Air Museum by the acclaimed Sandro Miller. At the Air Museum, I also hosted the walking around tour for photographers by Fujifilm. My own participation in the Palm Springs Photo Festival actually dates back to it’s very beginning.

Palm Springs Grand Prix Program 1986

I will admit that I get to do some awesome stuff. Taking off in the backseat of the T-33 “Shooting Star” jet with the Palm Springs Air Museum. The pilot is my good friend and respected warbird flyer, Michael Pfleger.

I love this woman and the scene and the entire design! A resort that once was “away” from the big city. Not in Palm Springs but in Southern California. Anyone want to guess where this is from? I was there on Monday.
Lunar Eclipse As Sport
Almost at it’s maximum the other night for a total Lunar Eclipse and as advertised “blood red” color. Sky conditions still had some cloudy haze. Photographed with a Fujifilm X-H1 camera and Fujifilm 100-400mm lens. On an Induro tripod with a FOBA ball head.

Tammy Neslund The Body At 56
After decades of photographing the most amazing individuals of the world of bodybuilding and fitness, I have come across a true icon of health, fitness and dedication, Tammy Neslund. At 56 years old, Mother and Grandma. A career professional who has also become a professional athlete in the prestigious IFBB, International Federation Of Bodybuilding And Fitness. So as we admire this beautiful woman and the body she has created, let us all give her the title of ‘Role Model’ for exemplifying what we all can achieve in some way; to be better than who we might be today at any age.
