What Does It Say?
Just something you would drive by and ignore. Trash, graffiti on an abandoned billboard, and in the distance a high rise casino resort. As a scene what does it say? From a photo excursion.

Weekends and nice weather. Makes me think of A Route 66 photo excursion. A trip a month ago and a Route 66 wall mural in Needles California. Sure makes a drab beige wall in the middle of town a lot more fun!

A Sign Of Appreciation…
This was an exhibit that gave me a new appreciation for the art of the streets, whether signs or graffiti. I am sorry I did not have the chance to see and photograph it more than once. The “Art In The Streets” exhibit at The Geffen Contemporary at The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. “Installations by 50 of the most dynamic artists and will emphasize Los Angeles’s role in the evolution of graffiti and street art, with special sections dedicated to seminal local movements such as cholo graffiti and Dogtown skateboard culture.”
