Looking incredible and having fun! Natalie Lyle started out as my Makeup Artist on my photo shoots. Along the way she became very studied and professional in front of the camera. And Natalie also became hard working in the gym. Now I have the most amazing looking Makeup Artist imaginable. You can meet Natalie at Muscle Beach/Venice on Monday as she helps me on my photo shoots for the day. At 6ft tall, you will not miss her!

Banner Banner At Muscle Beach!
You will be seeing my banners in the workout pit at world famous Muscle Beach/Venice for the big Memorial Day show. Everywhere around the globe people know “Muscle Beach” and I am proud to be a part of it! The beautiful woman in my photograph is Stephanie Lugo and you will see her photograph on the huge event banner as well. Thank You Joe Wheatley, the long time show producer and my good friend. And a very special Thank You to my good buddy Dennis Johnson who took the time from his real art work and graphic design work to create the design of this stunningly simple and beautiful banner. Photo Shoots Muscle Beach Memorial Day Weekend
I will be at the big Muscle Beach/Venice International Classic on Memorial Day, May 25 this month. I already have a number of people who have asked me about shooting them on stage and at the show for that day. If you too would like that, please send me a note to make arrangements. Also I am considering coming up a day early and doing some short beach shoot sessions. So if that would be of interest, also please send me a note. Maybe Another F-16?
The question came up yesterday about whether or not the United States Air Force might bring me another F-16 to Muscle Beach for the big Memorial Day show. Well maybe they did not bring it out just for me and Lisa Marino Sanders last year. But I think it is a good thing to do. What do you think?

Much Attention
One of my photographs of Doug Brignole has been getting much attention today on Facebook. However of all my photographs I have shot of Doug, this one is always one of my favorites. Muscle Beach/Venice is world famous and tourists come from all over to check it out and maybe take some photos of some muscle guys and gorgeous women. Well I was having Doug do some posing in the workout “Pit” when this woman jumped in for her chance to get one of those sought after tourist photos for herself. She made it perfect for me. I could not have paid someone to do any better! Those things do happen at Muscle Beach!

We started Veterans Day with United States Marine Corp Veterans Stephanie Lugo and Travis Ely on the Muscle Beach/Venice Poster. And now on the Facebook banner for Muscle Beach. My photographs of course. Come be a part of Muscle Beach for 2015! This will also be a 7 ft high by 14 ft long banner displayed on the famous Venice Beach Boardwalk for the 2015 Competition Summer Shows. How cool is that!
Veterans Day and Muscle Beach

Some years ago, I remember walking along that boardwalk at Venice Beach and seeing the huge guys working out in the “Pit” right there. Those were the guys of the Golden Age of Bodybuilding. How exciting to be living that history today! So come on out to Muscle Beach this coming Summer and you can be a part of it too!

Jack LaLanne 100 Today!
The amazing Jack LaLanne would be celebrating his 100th birthday today! So much in the world of exercise and fitness is owed to this man. This is Jack accepting the Muscle Beach Lifetime Achievement Award on Labor Day Sept. 3, 2007 at Muscle Beach/Venice. Behind Jack is the publisher of Iron Man Magazine and my friend John Balik. John himself an important individual in the world of Bodybuilding. One of the many reasons I like to be at Muscle Beach over the Summer. No where else would I have had the chance to photograph this special moment.
It Started With Way More Than A Bang!
I was going to talk about Summer highlights starting with a bang with Lisa Marino Sanders. But that was no bang, that was an explosion! Our photo shoot at Muscle Beach/Venice getting to use a United States Air Force F-16 and shooting along the famous Venice Beach boardwalk. We were often mobbed and stopped every inch of the way by tourists wanting photos of Lisa or selfies with her. It was too fun and Lisa is nothing but incredible! A big Thanks to Natalie Lyle for makeup and hair styling that gave her that star quality all day! Outstanding!! 
She Turned Her Back On Me!
Leave it to my best buddy Hannah Gordon Etherson to turn her back on me! Ok I will admit it was worth the view. On stage today at Muscle Beach/Veniceshe took home a Second Place Trophy! Yes!
Lee Labrada Inducted In The Muscle Beach Hall Of Fame
Legendary Bodybuilder Lee Labrada today being inducted into the Muscle Beach Hall Of Fame. Of course on stage at Muscle Beach/Venice! Outstanding!
And from Wikipedia… Lee Labrada (born 8 March 1960 in Havana, Cuba) is a former IFBB professional bodybuilder, published author and current CEO of Labrada Nutrition. Labrada was inducted into the IFBB Hall of Fame in 2004. Labrada has his own supplement company called Labrada Nutrition.
He is one of the world’s most well-known and celebrated bodybuilding legends. Lee Labrada holds 22 professional bodybuilding titles, including the IFBB Mr. Universe. He is one of the few pro bodybuilders in history to consistently have placed in the top four at the Mr. Olympia competition (the “Super Bowl” of bodybuilding) for seven consecutive years; a feat he shares with Arnold Schwarzenegger. He has appeared on the covers of more than 100 bodybuilding and fitness magazines and has been featured on CNBC, FOX, NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN and ESPN as a fitness and nutrition expert.
