SEX
SEX… There I said it. The gorgeous Aristodeme is reading it. Many photographs to see in it too. “SEX” conceived and featuring Madonna was released in 1992. Photographs and writings of pornography, simulations of all kinds of sexual acts, sadomasochism, raunchy and very erotic.
At the time, critics said it went way too far. But ultimately it was a defining moment for Madonna, her creativity, and as a champion for women’s sexuality and equality. It sold 150,000 copies on the first day of it’s release. “SEX” is perhaps the most sought after out of print book ever released.

What do 164 magazine editors, art directors, public relations companies, sportswear companies, supplement companies, fitness websites and even CBS Television have in common? They are all signed up and have used my archive to search for photographs that fit their needs and usage.

If I had a storefront business, in the morning I would come to work and put my roll down open sign in the front window. I think it would really be a big improvement in most downtown business areas.

Just Love It
I love the people I photograph! I love the creation, the wardrobe or lack of wardrobe, the makeup, the process, the cameras, the lighting equipment, even the light stands, all of it. And I am a true lover of photography, not just my photographs but the world of photographs.

Back Of The Closet
I always suggest to models that they should bring along the things they bought but have stuck in a closet or in a drawer because they never found the opportunity to wear those things. It can be so fun! in our photo shoot, Kajira had a few of those kinds of things.

Actually Simple
Behind the scenes with a stunning model, Kajira. Much of the time my setups are pretty simple. Although I usually have an assistant on hand for at least setup and tear down, most everything else is pretty much easy for me to do by myself if needed.
My surroundings obviously are very comfortable and roomy. I can reverse this room and have even higher ceilings. I also have tilt up sets that can create entire rooms outdoors in complete privacy. A very beautiful pool and spa with stamped concrete patios and decks recently all redone just before Summer. New landscaping going in now that will allow for garden and tree scenery. Plenty of room on hand for full makeup and hair styling as well and wardrobe changing.
I do depend on the best equipment to make sure I have not only great results but also no failures or problems. From heavy duty Matthews stands to Broncolor lighting and a Hasselblad digital camera system. I make no excuses for wanting to make sure that each photo shoot works every time. Only the best!

Add A Vintage Turban
Photo shoot with model Kajira was just so very fun! Tall, slender and so very well poised! I cannot even begin to tell you, but I have the photos and some great video! But for now I loved her look with such a simple wardrobe addition as this vintage turban. Made my day!

Simplicity
Sometimes I prefer simplicity. A 45 year old Polaroid instant film camera and one of my favorite models, Aristodeme. I think I will do more of this in my photo shoots. What do you think?

I have good friends who specialize in action sports and sports portraits, really good photographers. So I thought I would work on my skills shooting sports portraits too. Here is my idea of a bicycling sports portrait. My model Aristodeme photographed with my Hasselblad digital camera system. Works for me!
The Girl Is Just Beautiful
Model Amber Flowers is not only beautiful but so very talented. When I release some of the other photographs from our shoot, you will see how tremendously creative she is with wardrobe, her looks and shoot ideas. And I will hear this over and over after posting this photograph, because that is what happened on the last photos I posted of her… “She is so beautiful”.
