Not My Fault!

My friend Lydia Tack says I have a camera lens that automatically finds girls with long legs. Well this one is not my fault because Jennifer Henry brought them with her to our photo shoot. There was nothing I could do but take the photographs anyway. And if it is ok with you guys I will be showing more of them to you soon.

Dangerous In Winter

For those of you in the depths of Winter around the country or around the world. Do not invite Victoria Kirsanova for a visit. She will melt all the snow and ice and cause flooding. Much too hot! From our photo shoot with Makeup and Hair Styling by Natalie Lyle.

Are You Ready?

Jake Sawyer in front of my camera. His job on this photo shoot was to show up in shape and looking good. He did that! My job was to turn the scenes I had in my mind into photographs. The tools for this job were very simple, a few rolls of film (yes film) and a camera. That worked! Are you ready to do your job in front of my camera? Send me an e-mail to SecondFocus@mac.com and we can chat about it. Thanks!

Cortney And You…

Cortney CortCity Solomon was so fun in front of my camera! And like Cortney you can be in front of my cameras too, whether in the gym for bodybuilding and fitness or edgy fashion lifestyle or other sports or concepts. It could be for yourself, magazine editorials or advertisements for your products or services. Just send me an e-mail to SecondFocus@mac.com and and we can chat about it.

I want to say that I am very heartened by how many of you have contacted me over the last week about shooting. I have heard from people looking to build their own portfolios and promotion, companies looking to shoot their advertising and magazines looking for something different and unique. It shows that people are thinking ahead and optimistic about the New Year. Outstanding!

Behind The Scenes With You…

You could be looking at behind the scenes photographs of my photo shoot with you. These are from one of my shoots with the more than beautiful and wonderful Stacey Naito. This is the time that I am really giving a lot of thought to my planning for photo shoots for the coming year just around the corner. Of course I will continue to do my photography in bodybuilding and fitness whether in the gym, in the pool, or on location. I am also continuing to expand my shooting more directed to lifestyle features, edgy and nude fashion, editorial and advertising. And as I have always said, I reserve the right to photograph anything I find fun and interesting. So if you want to be a part of any of those concepts, genres and ideas or just want to get in on the fun and interesting, it is time to send me an e-mail to SecondFocus@mac.com with what you are thinking and let’s chat about it. Thanks! Behind The Scenes With Stacey Naito Behind The Scenes With Stacey Naito Behind The Scenes With Stacey Naito Behind The Scenes With Stacey Naito Behind The Scenes With Stacey Naito

It Has Already Started…

I started thinking about my photo shoot plans for next year. That may include many of you. So if you have been thinking about shooting with me or planning your magazine editorials or advertising campaigns, let’s chat. Yes I will be doing my work in bodybuilding and fitness, but let’s make it really standout! I am also doing work in lifestyle including fashion, edgy and conceptual. As I often say, I reserve the right to photograph anything I find fun and interesting. But seriously, whatever your concept, let’s talk! We can make it worthwhile and fun! Send me a note to SecondFocus@mac.com.

Here is a look behind the scenes on my photo shoot in the desert and wind farms with Sergi Constance. Sergi has become enormously successful as a model and our photographs made their way to magazines and more around the world.

It Takes More…

When I first photographed Jamie Eason for Bodybuilding.com for all of those ads and features, she told me about the hard work she put in to make her way up in the world of fitness. Jamie treated herself as a business and made the investment and put in the time. I will tell you right now that she is smart person and not just a pretty face and great body. Although I would love to have all of you come shoot with me, remember it takes more than great photographs to get ahead. Happy to chat with any of you if you have any questions. Thanks!

Dog Training In The Gym?

By popular demand, more or less. This was from an advertising photo shoot I did for Bodybuilding.com and rates of one of the all time fun photo shoots ever! World famous champion bodybuilder trainer Charles Glass training a dog in the gym. We had the dog on the treadmill, benches, machines and yes we did free weights. This and another photograph from the series ran as magazine ads for quite a long time. And Charles told me now and then he still gets calls asking if he does train dogs! Great Fun!

Where Else? Of Course!

Well where else would you expect to find red tires but with Maria Bertrand in the desert by the windmill farms. Obviously!

Sexy And Creative From 1985 With Rachel McLish.

So very sexy and creative and attention grabbing. A health club television commercial from 1985 featuring Rachel McLish, the very first Ms. Olympia. I really do not think ads for gyms and supplement companies really measure up today.

However this is one national magazine ad that I think is great. I photographed this for Bodybuidling.com.

The Woman Who First Said “I Love To Look Good Naked”

As we go into the weekend, I thought I might share with you more of what my job is, and it is not easy! Photographing beautiful women!

Can you believe this was actually an out take from a magazine ad shoot for Bodybuilding.com! The actual ad with another photograph we chose from that shoot ran in fitness and bodybuilding and more magazines that I even can recall for a long time. For quite a while I heard and still hear from women who tore that ad out and put it on their refrigerators. I think quite a few guys did too! The model is Maria Rogers and one of my all time favorite photo shoots. And you can click on the photograph to go to the video we shot around the photo shoot, also for Bodybuilding.com. I am pretty sure it was Maria who started the phrase “I Love To Look Good Naked” in that video. You really want to watch the video!

Are you ready to do a photo shoot with me? Would you like me to shoot your magazine features or advertising? Send me a note and let’s chat about it. Thanks!

I Am Sure That Was A Long Line!

Sherry Goggin is just too gorgeous for words! What an amazing woman signing posters from our photo shoot at the Arnold Sports Festival last week. No doubts that was a long line!
