July 4th Muscle Beach Photo Shoots
So Much Fun photographing so many of you at Muscle Beach on Memorial Day weekend! I will again be at the Muscle Beach July 4th show to photograph you on stage and backstage in the workout pit. I am also considering doing individual, perhaps one hour photo shoots, on the beach both before and after the show on Friday July 3rd and Sunday July 5th. The Hottest Makeup Artist!
Looking incredible and having fun! Natalie Lyle started out as my Makeup Artist on my photo shoots. Along the way she became very studied and professional in front of the camera. And Natalie also became hard working in the gym. Now I have the most amazing looking Makeup Artist imaginable. You can meet Natalie at Muscle Beach/Venice on Monday as she helps me on my photo shoots for the day. At 6ft tall, you will not miss her!
Not So Secret Admirer
Shawn Towne had a secret admirer at the gym. A professional model working in fitness, fashion and lifestyle, you can readily see that no matter what she is wearing, she keeps herself more than in shape. So why not surround yourself with in shape people and have good friends from the gym be your friends outside the gym as well. It is motivating! Her friend here is Chaun Williams, model good looking himself. Not so secret!

A fit and sexy Shawn Towne has a secret admirer. Not a surprise as this smoldering hot Mom showed us all that fitness is indeed the fountain of youth. Not only a Mom but also a busy model who has been seen on billboards around Las Vegas and fashion featured by haute couture designers. No wonder she easily caught the attention of Chaun Williams! You will be seeing more from this photo shoot!

Banner Banner At Muscle Beach!
You will be seeing my banners in the workout pit at world famous Muscle Beach/Venice for the big Memorial Day show. Everywhere around the globe people know “Muscle Beach” and I am proud to be a part of it! The beautiful woman in my photograph is Stephanie Lugo and you will see her photograph on the huge event banner as well. Thank You Joe Wheatley, the long time show producer and my good friend. And a very special Thank You to my good buddy Dennis Johnson who took the time from his real art work and graphic design work to create the design of this stunningly simple and beautiful banner. Photo Shoots Muscle Beach Memorial Day Weekend
I will be at the big Muscle Beach/Venice International Classic on Memorial Day, May 25 this month. I already have a number of people who have asked me about shooting them on stage and at the show for that day. If you too would like that, please send me a note to make arrangements. Also I am considering coming up a day early and doing some short beach shoot sessions. So if that would be of interest, also please send me a note. Tilt Up Studio
I have been getting a lot of photogrpahers asking for a closer look at my tilt up studio background system. Actually I think they wanted a closer look at Randalene Sergent. Perfectly reasonable! To the left is Natalie Lyle who does so much of the superb makeup and hair styling you see on my photo shoots. Although I have huge space inside to do photo shoots, this system allows me to create all kinds of spaces, paint schemes and more designs. I can also shift to do doing scenes by the pool or tress without moving all of the lighting equipment or very much additional work. Thanks!
Dark Corners In The Sunshine
Behind the scenes yesterday in my photo shoot with Randalene Sergent. I must tell you that Randalene is one of the most beautiful women I have ever photographed. Standing to the right is Natalie Lyle who did the most wonderful Makeup Styling on Randalene. It was perfect, exactly what I wanted and more! The heavy lifting and set up by my assistant Clyde Sawyer. From daylight poolside to dark corners we create it right here. Is that too fun!
Not About Me!
I know everyone is going to want to know where I buy my clothes and get my hair done. But this Behind The Scenes photo is not about me. Photographing a scene with the beautiful Shawn Towne and Chaun Williams as an extra. Although Shawn and my assistant Jennifer Chamberlin seemed to think he was a center of attention. Our Makeup and Hair Stylist Christine Copeland did keep a watchful and professional eye on Shawn but also seemed to catch an occasional cell phone pic of Chaun Williams as well. Well like I said, it is not about me.
Behind The Scenes At City Athletic Club
Behind the scenes the other day on a photo shoot at City Athletic Club in Las Vegas. An incredibly gorgeous Shawn Towne complemented with Chaun Williams providing the right atmosphere in the gym. And a huge Thank You to Jennifer Chamberlin who was a wonderful photo assistant, modeling coach and wardrobe advisor. A really cool gym and a huge Thanks to everyone!

I added some new portable lighting equipment for my photo shoots. Who wants to model for me? I suggest bring sunglasses!
A Camera, A Few Rolls Of Film And Thou…
This is how I like to do it. Just a camera with a few rolls of film, yes film! And then a beautiful model with a unique look. The model is Xtine, very tall, slender and just stunning. I had a specific series of photographs I wanted to shoot for some magazines and Xtine was beyond my expectations. Then we photographed some more to take advantage of the time and the day. It was all perfect!
Natalie Lyle By Natalie Lyle
Natalie Lyle has created herself in so many ways. She started with me when she graduated from makeup school with almost no experience. From then, right up to today, she has developed into one of the best makeup and hair stylists one could could ask for. As well as a styling and posing watchful eye. And as a consequence from watching me work with amateur inexperienced models or the most experienced professionals, she has become that posing competent model herself.
Natalie was new to the world of bodybuilding and fitness when she started with me as well. She had never seen the bodies like on the models I often photograph. So finally after spending so much time in this part of the fitness world she decided that a fit body and lifestyle was for her too. Now we have Natalie Lyle, the 6 foot tall gorgeous model with a fitness gym built body. Incredible in front of the camera as well as still behind the camera with me.
Stylin And Flyin
A look of style that makes you just want to see her as the pilot in that front seat on her way out to the runway and then push that plane into the air. Does that not sound so very cool! Censored
I just find it so odd that in the USA we find ourselves so censored as compared to much of the rest of the world when it comes to things considered sexual. At least that is my view when it comes to photographs and photography. Here is a page from Vogue Paris with model Emily DiDonato. And Vogue is what I would call a mainstream magazine. Below is how I have to post the same photo on Facebook. Can you imagine the same photograph made “safe” for “American” magazines. It is just not as interesting and beautiful. That is why the photograph was designed and photographed as it is in the first place.

And like Cortney you can be in front of my cameras too, whether in the gym for bodybuilding and fitness or edgy fashion lifestyle or other sports or concepts. I want to say that I am very heartened by how many of you have contacted me over the last week about shooting. This is the time that I am really giving a lot of thought to my planning for photo shoots for the coming year just around the corner. Of course I will continue to do my photography in bodybuilding and fitness whether in the gym, in the pool, or on location. I am also continuing to expand my shooting more directed to lifestyle features, edgy and nude fashion, editorial and advertising. Get Your Dents Worked Out…
Stopping by for some auto repair? Maybe things running rough? Looks like he is not too busy but maybe not impressed with the idea of getting under the hood of your car. Riding The Rails…
She walked out of the desert from that freight train. Was she riding the rails, maybe from somewhere colder? She did see me, she was looking around. The camera didn’t seem to bother her but the hot Sun was too much for leather and denim. She got more comfortable and I think she was looking for her next direction. Maybe she is coming your way. Amy Sedlatschek riding the rails. She can do that, after all she is the Mom to six and a grandma. She has earned whatever she wants to do.
