Reaching around the world, it was wonderful to have Joan Liew and Augustine Lee from Singapore for their United States gym photo shoot with me right here at Palm Springs Fitness Center. Founders of the Fitness Factory Gym in 2005, they are both International Bodybuilding Champions and among the most respected and best known in the fitness business.

BTS Like No Other
Behind the scenes in my photo shoot with Kerstin Schulze and Andrea Schulze in Palm Springs. They both live a lifestyle of health and fitness. Kerstin a long time fitness competitor and Andrea just walking away with her first competition trophies. Both 6ft tall and identical twins. Both gorgeous, fun, outgoing and both women to respect and admire in how they carry themselves in life. For now I will not tell you who is who, just for fun, because they are so very identical. I want to keep you guessing and intrigued lol!

The subject came up about all of the photo shoots I did for Bodybuilding.com. Having become one of the most visited websites in the world, sales for the company had grown to exceed a half billion dollars per year. During those growth years, I photographed their advertising, online and print magazine features and endless bodybuilding and fitness competitions around the country. Most memorable for me, so many, very many. But way at the top was the advertising, video and features that came out of my photo shoot with Maria Rogers. “A picture is worth a thousand words” and way more!

New Year Motivation
A selfie from my buddy Tani Correia. Tani had made it into the world of fitness being featured in the magazines and pretty well known. But as she has self confessed along the way, she had a difficult time maintaining her condition. Not long ago Tani told me that she was going to make her way back. Actually I am not really sure how much time elapsed, I just know she sure did it! What a rockin’ body!
So for the first day of 2017, Tani is the motivation that many of us need. By the way, Tani told me many times that one of her motivations was to come do a photo shoot with me. I love that!

Scenic Imagination
So great fun doing photo shoots in interesting and scenic places. Sometimes they do not seem scenic at first, but then just use your imagination. The imagination of knowing what something will look like in the photograph. One of my favorite photo shoots, this time with bodybuilder Daniel Hill.
This Is It
Among my very favorite photographs I have shot over the years. One of the most respected individuals in bodybuilding and fitness, my friend Doug Brignole. This photo makes me think about what we really do in the gym, struggle and overcome ourselves to be a better person. Not to just lose weight, have bigger arms or a more shapely butt. The idea is to be a better us and somewhat in turn, make it a better world in the best way we can for each of us. Thanks!

My World
The ever so gorgeous Maria Bertrand, often in front of my camera. And my friend! I am so lucky that so very many of the beautiful women and good looking guys I photograph become and remain my friends.
One of my buddies was walking around an event with me a few months ago. He said, looking around at the crowd… “None of these people look like the people you photograph”. Very true! Nothing wrong with it but the thought stayed with me. I do indeed work and live in a different world than many. Just different. I guess I did recognize that some time back when I named the portfolios on my Website as “My World”.

First Shoots
It was not John Black‘s first photo shoot. He has actually been getting some good modeling jobs. But it was his first photo shoot with me. First photo shoots are important because it gets you into a mindset so you know how each other works. Then when I have an assigned or commissioned shoot, I can cast or recommend you with confidence. New Again!
Seen by billions! Well maybe not billions, but for sure my most seen photograph ever. Certainly one of the most seen photographs in all of bodybuilding and fitness. “Renee Kissing The Egg”. Photographed by me for my good friends Egg Whites International. The best and most successful pure liquid egg whites on the market. None better!
“Renee Kissing The Egg” now the main attraction on their latest version of trade show booth at this weekend’s Anaheim FitExpo. It is also roll- up banners, the product brochure and has been their van wrap. This photograph for Egg Whites International is now in it’s second decade. How fun is that!

At the Iron Man Naturally Championships yesterday at the FitExpo Anaheim. An extraordinarily striking Jessica Lopez at her first show. Winning 1st Place in both Bikini Open Novice Class B and Bikini Class B. Actually I had no doubt about it during judging which is why I made sure I shot some photographs of her. Outstanding!
