My Morning So Far…
My morning so far…. Coffee outside by the pool, throwing the ball for the dogs, making some notes in my journal, reading the latest issue of Vanity Fair and taking photographs of the P-51 Mustang overhead going in to the Palm Springs Air Museum.
So Who Is Next?
It can be so very simple… It just takes one of my cameras, some film and one of the many settings in my “studio”. And someone to photograph. In this case it was Brad Gwinn. So who is next? You perhaps?
Does A Body Good!
Being in the gym does a body good. With Jessica Jacobsen in front of my cameras. Makeup and Hairstyling by Natalie Lyle.

The Physique Winner…

Shaka Smith looking great as my camera caught him on stage where he would win the overall title for Men’s Physique at the Iron Man Magazine Naturally Championships last weekend. Hard works shows on this guy!
The Bodybuilding Winner…

Pointing my camera in the right direction at the Iron Man Magazine Naturally Championships found Abraham Tchabe winning the overall bodybuilding title last weekend. Practice and experience really showed because this guy was amazingly at ease on stage and posing. Great job!
Tiphany Adams At The FitExpo

My favorite part of the FitExpo last weekend… Getting to see people I don’t get to see often enough. Like the beautiful Tiphany Adams who many of you know from the enormously successful series “Push Girls”. Tiphany was there being fit and fun at the booth for Quest Nutrition. No one better!
Working Those Legs!

I just love Sasha Brown in the gym in front of my cameras. She makes it look all too good! This is also one my all time favorite gym photographs I have ever shot. And I have shot plenty!
Alternate Energy At It’s Best!

Maria Bertrand making alternate transportation and energy looking better than ever. Maybe she could give us bike tours out in the windmill farms. I would be willing to shoot more photographs! And if you want to shoot something “alternate” with me, send me a note!
I Love Photographing Her!

I was going to do a list here of all the reasons I love photographing Randalene Sergent but I knew it was getting way too long when I got to Chapter 19. Also let me say, wonderful Makeup and Hair Styling by Natalie Lyle! Thanks!
Looks Good There!

I am sure happy I shot this photograph of Travis Ely. It looks really great on the website for the Iron Man Magazine Naturally Championships. Very Fun!
Another Look At Travis Ely…

Another look at Travis Ely at his win at the Iron Man Magazine Naturally Championships this weekend at the Los Angeles FitExpo. The three things he had going right for him in getting ready for this show… 1. His willingness to listen and learn. 2. Coaching and training by Jake Sawyer. 3. A great haircut lol!
Along His Journey…

Xavisus Gayden Ifbb Pro at the FitExpo this last weekend. It is fun to see him at the booth for his sponsor, handing out trophies at the competition and having so many fans say Hi. Fun because as we chatted and remembered how a few years ago I selected him, wrote the story and did the photo shoot for his feature in Iron Man Magazine as the Bodybuilding.com BodySpace Physique of the Month. And neither one of us at that time had any idea where his journey in this world of bodybuilding and fitness would lead him today. Very Cool!
Winner!

What is this guy yelling about! Well he won his class at the Iron Man Magazine Naturally Championships yesterday at the Los Angeles FitExpo! That’s why!
Travis Ely looking great alongside a total of 164 competitors at the Los Angeles Convention Center amidst 460 booths and displays, other sports events and record breaking crowds.
And a win for Travis is also a win for Jake Sawyer who coached him through his training, nutrition and posing even right up when he was on stage. Outstanding!
By the way, do I take great show photos or what lol !
A Sign Of Appreciation…

This was an exhibit that gave me a new appreciation for the art of the streets, whether signs or graffiti. I am sorry I did not have the chance to see and photograph it more than once. The “Art In The Streets” exhibit at The Geffen Contemporary at The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. “Installations by 50 of the most dynamic artists and will emphasize Los Angeles’s role in the evolution of graffiti and street art, with special sections dedicated to seminal local movements such as cholo graffiti and Dogtown skateboard culture.”
Teamwork!

From The Back

A look at the other side of Travis Ely as he gets ready for the Iron Man Magazine Naturally Championships at the Los Angeles FitExpo this weekend. And he is getting some solid coaching from Jake Sawyer at a great gym to do it, Palm Springs Fitness Center. Outstanding!
Getting Ready!

Travis Ely has been working hard! He is getting ready for the Iron Man Magazine Naturally Championships this coming Saturday at the Los Angeles FitExpo. Jake Sawyer has been coaching him throughout the last couple of weeks and the difference he has made in Travis is just amazing. A big round of applause for both these guys! Outstanding!
“Art In The Streets”

I truly enjoyed shooting photographs at this show some time ago.
My Tumblr Blog
After using my Blog on Blogger since 2005 and trying a few others I decided to try Tumblr. I am not sure it is exactly the look I wanted. But it has some hot photographs and some more varied subjects that I find interesting and fun. Take a look!
