At the Iron Man Naturally Championships yesterday at the FitExpo Anaheim. An extraordinarily striking Jessica Lopez at her first show. Winning 1st Place in both Bikini Open Novice Class B and Bikini Class B. Actually I had no doubt about it during judging which is why I made sure I shot some photographs of her. Outstanding!

Bodybuilder Bada Lekan, originally from Nigeria, winning the 2016 Iron Man Naturally at the Los Angeles FitExpo this last weekend. A truly well deserved win!

Mike And Jean
My friends Mike O’Hearn and Jean Carrillo Carrillo Muay Thai meeting on Saturday, after two decades, at the Los Angeles FitExpo. Jean had trained Mike in Muay Thai at Gold’s Gym Venice. Mike as an actor and fitness personality has been seen on the cover of hundreds of magazines and is a huge fan favorite. Jean is a world famous Muay Thai and self defense trainer, training people in his gym in Santa Ana as well as special police units in France and around the world. Great fun!

My buddy Evina Del Pizzo Luna winning the Overall Bikini Championship at the Iron Man Naturally 2016 on Saturday. One of the top featured events at the Los Angeles FitExpo. I was there with 60,000 of my best friends. Were you there too?
I Needed A Big Chair
The big chair in the parking lot of the LA Mart in downtown Los Angeles. The Reef was the location for Photo LA. What a superb show! Photo Shoots At The Iron Man Naturally Anaheim
Are you doing the Iron Man Naturally competition at the Anaheim FitExpo on August 22nd? I will be at the show and expo on Saturday, but on Sunday August 23rd, I will be doing a limited number of mini photo shoots at a nearby gym. It Says Champion Because…
It says Champion over his head because now he is one! Yesterday at the huge Los Angeles FitExpo, Travis Ely won the overall bodybuilding championship title! He worked hard, looked great, and did the homework! Good thing I brought a camera with me. Big shout out to Jake Sawyer who gave Ely that last week tune up! Outstanding!
Hiking At The L.A. FitExpo!
I know I will be seeing my hiking partner Sherry Goggin at the FitExpo today. I don’t know if she will be wearing this hiking outfit she wore the last time we did a photo shoot out in the desert, but she is always looking amazing in wardrobe from her own line of clothes from Fit Girl Wear! L.A. FitExpo Limitations
Stacey Naito will be at the FitExpo but has been asked by the Los Angeles Fire Department to wear something other than this. It seems that with a crowd expected to be 50,000, it is likely that number would skyrocket leading to overcrowding and the potential for spontaneous combustion from the heat. However, I am willing to take the chance if she wants to wear this again. From our photo shoot with Makeup and Hair Styling by by Estee Lauder Makeup Artist extraordinaire Blanche LeBeau.

Saturday I will be at the FitExpo at the Los Angeles Convention Center along with 50,000 other people that weekend among the 600 booths and 24 competitions. My favorite part of the FitExpo last weekend… Getting to see people I don’t get to see often enough. Like the beautiful Tiphany Adams who many of you know from the enormously successful series “Push Girls”. Tiphany was there being fit and fun at the booth for Quest Nutrition. No one better!

Along His Journey…
Xavisus Gayden Ifbb Pro at the FitExpo this last weekend. It is fun to see him at the booth for his sponsor, handing out trophies at the competition and having so many fans say Hi. Fun because as we chatted and remembered how a few years ago I selected him, wrote the story and did the photo shoot for his feature in Iron Man Magazine as the Bodybuilding.com BodySpace Physique of the Month. And neither one of us at that time had any idea where his journey in this world of bodybuilding and fitness would lead him today. Very Cool!

What is this guy yelling about! Well he won his class at the Iron Man Magazine Naturally Championships yesterday at the Los Angeles FitExpo! That’s why!
Travis Ely looking great alongside a total of 164 competitors at the Los Angeles Convention Center amidst 460 booths and displays, other sports events and record breaking crowds.
And a win for Travis is also a win for Jake Sawyer who coached him through his training, nutrition and posing even right up when he was on stage. Outstanding!
